Ready for Christmas I am not keen on Christmas trees so have decorated this branch instead.

Looking forward to seeing the family as we motor down to Portsmouth tomorrow.

I am really enjoying getting back into crochet again.
This is a bag I have just made

Had a wonderful time on our canal boat trip.

I am getting into crochet again, these are a few little things I have tried.
I find crochet so theraputic.
I made a few little flowers on the train yesterday as I went to a Prospects conference in Manchester. The conference was great, I was very inspired by an autisitic young man called Aman.I also had a fantastic time in the music workshop, creating a symphony of creation with 50 adults who had learning disabilities.

We had a fantastic time on our canoe trip, the weather wasn't very good and the tent leaked but it didn't put us off, we are now looking forward to the river Wye trip next year.

Trying something new

Had my first experience of a canoe today on Llyn Padarn in preparation for our River Severn trip with the scouts this weekend. Hope the weather improves as we are
camping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Helfa Gelf

Today Loraine Midge and myself have been on the Helfa Gelf Art Trail, artists in the area open their homes for three weeks each year and people call round to visit them and view and discuss the art work.
This is the first time we have done this, we have had a great day with some amazing conversations.

The photo here is of a very old tree in Bodnant Gardens, I have interpreted this using crochet.

My first attempt at Art in Focus, the photo was taken looking out of the window from our B&B in Ambleside. I interpreted it using paper flowers and strips of old photos.

Autumn is my favourite season, I have started a craft project taking inspiration from a book called Art in Focus, I will post some photos soon.
